2018 in Review

Keyes Building

As the sun sets on 2018, we are taking stock of where we have been and where we are going. This has been a wonderful year for our office. We expanded to our new headquarters in the heart of Eagle Rock, and we are also proud to report that we sold 37 properties and leased 24 properties for a total of 61 transactions and a sales volume totaling approximately $51 million. To put that number in perspective, last year we sold 36 properties and leased 13 properties for a total of 49 deals and a sales volume of approximately $60 million. In 2019, the housing market will continue to rise and fall with interest rates. However, it is important to keep in mind that we live in the microeconomic climate of Los Angeles, and while rising interest rates do put pressure on Angelenos, there is still a shortage of great housing available to buy. Our advice is to keep in mind the trade off between purchase price and interest rates – interest rates are STILL historically low. That said, we do believe there will be continued correction in the real estate market. Real estate is cyclical, as is everything else, but the purchase of quality real estate is a safe bet in the long haul, and we believe there are deals in any market. The difference is WHO IS REPRESENTING YOU. We are not just brokers, lawyers, investors, homeowners, or property managers – WE ARE YOU. Whatever your real estate needs or goals may be, we are with you every step of the way to ensure you are making the right decision for today and for the future.

Lastly, we are humbled and motivated by our final review of 2018:

As first-time homebuyers, Brad was patient, informative, and most importantly, trustworthy. He was brutally honest and no-nonsense about everything and didn’t hold back his professional and personal opinion, which we really valued; but, he also cared about our opinions and concerns (of which we had a lot). He has our best interests at heart and isn’t looking for a quick deal. The best part is that not only is he an experienced and professional real estate broker, he is also a real estate attorney. His knowledge of real estate law is incredibly helpful in navigating the process and the paperwork. We fully trusted his ability to review, manage, and execute our contracts, and he was able to confidently addend contracts to help protect us in the biggest purchase of our lives. On top of all of that, Brad is an awesome person. It is obvious he loves his job and helping his clients. He is the best person to have on your real estate team, and we look forward to recommending him to our friends and family in the future.

We are thankful for all of the other reviews we received on Zillow and Google from our clients this year. THANK YOU for a wonderful year. We can’t wait to see what 2019 will bring. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! ???
